The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture (MOMAA) alias Bahrain Municipality is a government entity responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and regulation of municipal services and urban planning in the Kingdom of Bahrain. MOMAA plays a vital role in shaping the country’s urban landscape, building permits, agriculture import export and overall public facilities that operate efficiently, sustainably, and in alignment with national development goals.
The Challenge
Being a government organization, MOMAA places the highest priority on security. The municipality sought a self-hosted Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform that could be customized to meet their rigorous network security standards for system access and audit capabilities. The goal was to implement a unified IAM platform that would serve employees, business entities, and citizens, while seamlessly scaling to handle millions of authentications across both web and mobile devices.
